The Busy Life of a Single Mom

Emmit Smith was my favorite so far of all the stars that have appeared on Dancing with the Stars. We truly did not miss an episode or a chance to vote for our Cowboy. I was even able to plan a trip to Texas Stadium so that Cameron could see Emmit’s football field and his name around the top of the stadium during the season.  I do occasionally wonder what happens to the stars after the end of the season. Do they go back to their old lives? Are their dancing days over?

Emmit Smith has continued performing his dance moves it seems. According to Tulsa World, he’s been quoted saying even men have asked him to dance. As if he wasn’t famous enough, Emmit is now well known to many non-football fans (yes, they do exist). This make it even easier for him to support different charities.  Today, Smith will be in Tulsa supporting the Salvation Army at a benefit dinner. Go Emmit and thanks for being a pro-athlete making the headlines for positive reasons.
