The Busy Life of a Single Mom

Well two celebs went home last week, and now it’s time for everyone who wishes to stay in this game to get serious.

Marlee & Fabian - Received 3 7′s. She still amazes me every week. I know the judges have to evaulate her as if she’s not deaf, but I just don’t think I could have given her anything less than an 8. I really don’t think she’s the strongest dancer so she won’t get the trophy in the end, but I think she’s here to stay for a while and I look forward to continuing to watch her improvements (and no “pancake hands” next week)

Steve & Anna – Received 3 7′s. Wow! How fun is was to see that Anna’s husband, Jonathan came to the rescue this week since she was sick. I have to say that I just enjoy watching Steve. I totally recognize that he’s not anywhere near the best dancer out there (probably in fact one of the weakest now), but I am so happy when I see him dance. He’s so entertaining so I’m really glad that the judges seemed to like him a little better this week. I’ll enjoy watching him for as long as he can hold out and dance for us.

Christian & Cheryl – Received 2 8′s and a 9. This man is serious about wanting to win. Will his seriousness end up causing him problems? I think the trip to Sea World must have helped. That was a great dance. I was really impressed! He is making such great improvements (and that blue on his complexion is H-O-T, Hot!)

Mario & Karina - Received 6, 7, and 8. I’ve really enjoyed these two the past couple weeks, but I’m not sure what the deal was tonight, but they just didn’t do much for me. I’m not sure if it was the costume colors or what. It wasn’t that the dancing was poor, it was that the chemistry or charisma wasn’t there. I was so glad to see that Lyn and Carrie Ann agreed with me in their evaluations. 

Shannon & Derek – Received 3 8′s. I really didn’t like this girl in the beginning, but she is starting to grow on me. She’s definitly getting better each week. Maybe I will slowly grow to like her after all.

Adam & Julianne - Received 3 7′s. Well, what can I say about Adam? I think I find him interesting to watch. I’m not sure yet if it’s enjoyable. I have enjoyable moments. Tonight was mostly one of those moments. I really think he looked like a dancer. Maybe he’s growing into the part, and maybe he’s growing on me, too.

Marissa & Tony – received 2 6′s and a 7. She has such a great charisma. I LOVE to watch her. She’s great. Tonight I didn’t see that charisma like before. She seemed more held back tonight. Though I think the judges were a little too harsh for her. I wanted to cry for her. I hope the fans rally behind her and call in the votes tonight.

Priscilla & Louie – Received 2 8′s and a 9. Of all the dancers from the very beginning, Priscilla is the one I like the least. She seems so plastic and barbie like – not real and genuine. I see it when she talks. I see it when she dances. I see it all the time. She is where the judges and I seem to really differ. They saw passion and such tonight. I saw no emotion. I was completely shocked at how great her score was.

Jason & Edyta – Received 2 8′s and a 7. Every time I see him, I think he’s got it. I know he’s going to master each dance completely. He’s great. I look for him to last for a while this season. WOW!!! I have to say at this time, this dance has impressed me the most. His dancing seems to be there, and he has the charisma. I want him to win. I LOVE watching him every time. He has such an amazing prescence. At this time I’d predict him being in the final show, and I think the judges were WAY too critical of him. He deserved much higher scores.

Kristi & Mark – Received 3 9′s. Great as always. She is so reliable. She accepts the personality of the dance. She doesn’t seem to miss a beat. I think she’s great. I worry about her though as I worry she may be headed down the road that Sabrina did last season. I think she may be the best dancer and end up not making it to the end.

My votes tonight are being split between Jason and Kristi, but I think many of our stars deserve some votes.
