Yep!! The last two days have convinced me. I don’t watch much on television, but what I do like to I like to watch the entire season, and it seems that lately I haven’t been able to catch even most of a season of anything with all the girls and my activities, trying to stick to exercising, etc.
Dancing with the Stars is truly one of my favorite shows, but I’ve already missed 1/2 of last night and all but the last 10 minutes tonight. Cameron had softball practice last night until 7:15 (and then 30 minutes home), and Becka had One Act Play contest today (yea! They won and advance to the next level of competition that takes place Thursday). So I’m heading online to investigate tomorrow. I have DirecTV so I guess I have to buy a box from them? If any of you know anything or have any recommendations I’d be really glad to hear them…probably try to make a purchase by early next week.

I absolutely LOVE my DVR! With 3 kids I can never catch any of my favorite shows on in time so I just set my DVR up to record! I love Dancing with the Stars also & I still have to watch this season - I have them recorded:)
We have Time Warner so I can’t help you much with DirecTV… I’m sure you could call their customer service to inquire about the DVR. Good luck & I hope you get your DVR soon:)

I got a DVR for my birthday last year-I went with Comcast’s DVR rather than TIVO b/c Comcast would set it up for us-. I can’t imagine life without mine.

I have one courtesy of our cable company, but I have as yet to use it. Your blog has reinforced the reasons why I need to use it. Off to figure it out……….
