The Busy Life of a Single Mom

Wow. I was just doing some general web browsing, and Dancing with the Stars is making the top of a few different entertainment sites I browse.  There seem to be two big rumors floating around concerning a past and a present dancer.

The first rumor I found was that Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke are (or were) having an affair. The second rumor is that Marissa (the Hairspray star) is having a baby.

Concerning Drew and Cheryl, I have my doubts. One of the main reasons is that I’m seeing several different versions of this story. I have seen it told in the past tense (when they were dancing together) and in the present tense.  I’ve seen it was when they were dancing on the show and then when they were traveling and promoting the show after their season. Since it seems that the rumors aren’t even consistent, I don’t really give this one any credit. (and that’s just one of the reasons)

The second (that Marissa is having a baby) seems to be a consistent story so far though I could not find it actually verified by any source. I did find an article with quotes allegedly from her stating its truth, but I only really found them in one place.  However, do not misunderstand this story – it’s not that she’s pregnant; it’s only that she’s having a baby.  According to the sites I found, she has a surrogate mother carrying her child. 

I guess time will tell us if the second rumor is true, and we may never know about the first one. But on a positive side, The Jonas Brothers will be on Dancing with the Stars Monday. I can’t wait to catch this one. My youngest loves the Disney Pop Stars so we’ll be on the edges of our seats watching the show Monday, March 25.
