Cameron has a friend over spending the night so we decided today would be one of our days off. We headed out to town and had pedicures. I absoutely love sitting in the massage chairs and having a spa pedicure. This is one of my weaknesses - splurging on relaxation. Today was even more special as both of the girls received their first spa pedicures. It was really cute to see them stretching to get their legs to fit down to the water tubs at the bottom of the chairs.
While I can easily lay back and close my eyes and forget about the world during my pedicures, the girls chatted non stop and pretended to call each other on their princess cell phones (yes, they are prentend). While chatting they decided they were hungry. While I was really not in the mood for fast food, I remembered that Disney was supposed to be having Disney Pirate and Princess toys in their happy meals soon so I called them up and sure enough they had started those. My curiousity (and weakness for Disney) led us on to 3 Happy Meals after our pedicures.
After filling up, we headed to the theater to see Disney’s College Road Trip starring Raven. The movie was cute (and with one ready to go off to college I have to admit getting watery eyed at the end). The girls enjoyed it, but it was complex enough to keep me interested also.
So for the first day of Spring Break - we mostly took the day off (I did work a little this morning). Tomorrow Cameron will go to her grandmother’s, and I will try to accomplish a few things on my list.
