For the last three months, I’ve made a very serious attempt at watching what I eat. I’ve decreased portions, added in more fruits and vegetables, and I’ve added in at least 30 minutes of some type of exercise three times a week, but I can’t seem to lose any weight. With summer fast approaching, I have to admit to being almost desperate in my search for a solution before I begin putting on a swimsuit.
On a forum I visit frequently, I read about multiple people who were trying a weight loss pill. At first I barely glanced at the thread as I’ve read so many things about the side effects of diet pills that I couldn’t imagine taking these (and the one time I did try, I only took them for one day and I literaly could not control my body from shaking - a frightening moment). However, after 3 months of this dedicated effort to be in better shape and lose weight and so few results, I went back and read this thread again, and I decided that I did actually trust the women posting, and I would give it a try. I went to Nutritional Science Laboratories and read about the product Lipocerin. To quote the website,
“Lipocerin contains Nature’s best ingredients to help your body fight excess fat! Lipocerin combines the amazing appetite-suppressing power of Hoodia Gordonii with the metabolism-boosting Chromium Picolinate.”
Being the ever skeptic, I bit the dust, but I only ordered one bottle. It came in this week, and I have started taking it two days ago. The first thing I noticed was that it REALLY did take my appetite away. I started with two capsules in the morning (with a banana as it said to take with food), and I was shocked when I wasn’t hit by my normal hunger/snack urges around 10 that morning. I was even more surprised at lunch when I had no real desire to eat. In fact, it wasn’t until almost 3:00 that afternoon that I even felt the slightest bit of hunger. At that time, I did go ahead and eat an apple intending to then eat the lunch I had packed that day, but I was full after the apple. I ate a light supper and took another of the capsules and I had no late night urges to snack either. I also felt none of the jittery feelings I had felt (and read about) previously, and I slept normally.
Still not entirely convinced, but feeling open I took two more capsules this morning with a bowl of cereal, and again I wasn’t hungry until after 2:30 today. I did eat a light lunch (of avocadoes and tomatoes), and I’ll eat small portions of tonights supper (fried chicken, mashed potatoes, etc) and take another pill.
I did not think to actually weigh myself two days ago (I had such little faith in this product), but now that I have a lot more faith, I’ve weighed today, and I will try to update you every week or so to let you know if I actually lose any weight.
