I have spent some time on this website about oysters today, and I thought I would take this time to share it with you. I rarely think much about oysters unless I am in a restaurant, but this website, Be Oyster Aware, is a very informative website where you can learn some very interesting facts about many types of oysters including gulf oysters. In addition, it discusses the risk of eating raw oysters under certain circumstances.
I thought the most interesting part of the site was the recipies. I’ve never considered cooking oysters, but I may now. The Chicago Style Oyster Pizza and Oyster Alfredo look the best to me, and I think my sister would enjoy the Oyster Quiche so I sent it to her.
