Easy Black Bean Soup Recipe

Black beans are one of my favorites—delicious and nutrient packed. Here is a super easy black bean soup and you may just have all of the ingredients in your kitchen right now!

2 Cups Chicken Broth

1 Can Black Beans

1 Can White Hominy

½ Cup Salsa

1 Cup Tortilla Chips

Put chicken broth, rinsed and drained beans, hominy and salsa in a sauce pan; bring to a boil; simmer for 10 minutes; top with crushed tortilla chips. You could substitute corn for the hominy (hominy is a dried corn that has been soaked in a mineral bath—great flavor and texture for soup).

Simple, quick, nutritious and delicious way to eat black beans!
