I Was Still Waiting…Until This Morning!

December 20th, 2008 · 1 Comment

It has been 4 weeks since my surgery and also 4 weeks still waiting for the pending pathologist’s report.  I was alright about the situation until about 2 weeks ago.  I think it all changed when I started to feel better and had the time and clarity to worry about the results and what will […]

Home Early With Great News…But Still Waiting…

November 25th, 2008 · No Comments

Funny how things turn out when you think positive knowing  some sense of reality still must be intertwined …you combine and add in what the specialists say …and all my well wishes, thoughts and prayers that were sent …this is what I was thinking when I woke up this morning at home.
Today should be the […]

Grandy’s Weekend

November 11th, 2008 · No Comments

I was the luckiest grandmother this past weekend.  My son-in-law had to be out of town so my daughter asked me to stay the weekend.
I was to arrive on Saturday.  It felt like I flew long the highways as I anticipated all the fun that awaited me.  I made it to their house in record […]

Babysitting

November 11th, 2008 · No Comments

I love babysitting! Babysitting is especially fantastic when it is your grandchild. My daughter and son-in-law stayed over on Halloween weekend and asked us to babysit so they could go out alone. The word yes rolled right over our lips without hesitation.
Grand Pup and I had so much fun spending precious time with our grandson. […]

Simple moments……………

October 10th, 2008 · No Comments

I am very fortunate to live and work in a small rural community.  This morning my short walk from my vehicle to the front doors of my workplace was very uplifting.
Though it was chilly, the sun shined brightly and warmed up my soul.  I felt snug in my cozy fleece as I walked along.
Honking geese […]

Back from Boston

October 9th, 2008 · 7 Comments

Back from Boston.  Things are going round and round in my mind right now.  I am still trying to sort out all the info.  I see the good and the bad.  I feel like I did when this journey first started. ..When will I wake up from this nightmare?
The ride down was uneventful as we […]

Under Dark Clouds

September 28th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I didn’t realize until Friday night that I am living under dark clouds right now….hopefully just a slight case of depression and/or just feeling sorry for myself.  Now don’t get me wrong, lots of good things happened this week, however, my results, the unknown, lack of sleep and tiredness has caught me off guard.
I usually […]
